Return Policy

At Sun Source Energy Products, we strive for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and we understand that there may be a situation where an item needs to be returned to us. If you need to return an item to us, please Contact Us by email or telephone so that we may assist you.

The following return policy is in effect for all items purchased from us, either online or in person.

Return Materials Authorization

All returns require prior authorization. Do not send anything without first contacting us via telephone or email and obtaining a valid Return Materials Authorization. We reserve the right to refuse any returns that have not been authorized, and Sun Source Energy Products will not be responsible for any additional shipping costs incurred as a result of unauthorized returns.

Defective Items

We are authorized distributors for all items that we sell. As such, all manufacturer warranties are in effect, beginning with the date printed on your invoice. Defective items may be submitted to us for warranty replacement, please contact us for further information or to begin the process. Note that you may be responsible for shipping costs in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty.

Returns For Credit Or Refund

Many items, such as hardware and non-electrical or electronic items may be eligible for a return for credit or refund. Items that have been installed, show evidence of misuse or mishandling, or without original packaging are not eligible for a return. Items must be in brand new, saleable condition. Please contact us for help in determining if you qualify for a return for credit or refund. We reserve the right to make a final decision regarding a return.

Electronic / Electrical Items

Electronic and Electrical items are not eligible for returns. This includes, but may not be limited to, electronic controls, pumps, automatic valves, and photovoltaic products. Defective units may be returned for replacement in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty, however sales of these types of items are final. Please contact us if you need further clarification or have a question if an item is excluded.

Special Order Items

Items marked as special order, or other items that we may source that are not normally stocked items are not returnable.

Return Shipping

Sun Source Energy Products will not be responsible for return shipping costs. We may opt to cover return shipping under certain circumstances and when required by a manufacturer's warranty.

Method Of Refund

Returns of items purchased electronically via our website and other ecommerce outlets will be refunded to the original payment method.

Returns of items purchased via credit card over the phone may be refunded either to the original credit card, or by a mailed check.

Returns of items purchased via a check or cash will be refunded by a mailed check.

We aim to process refunds quickly. However, please note that in the case of electronic refunds (Credit card, Pay-Pal, etc) there may be a delay of several days from when we initiate the refund to when the money is available in your account. This is out of our control and is determined by the bank, card processor, or other financial institutions that will have to handle the refund.
